オーストラリア・ゴールドコーストのガールズ・サーフロックバンド、The Oogarsが新曲「Scream」をリリースする。
「Scream」は彼女たちのデビューシングルで、MVも公開されている。

The Oogarsとは
The Oogarsは2018年に結成したバンドで、Gemma Owens(Gt./Vo.)、Tanisha Cook(Gt./Key./Vo.)、Emily lawlor(Ba./Vo.)、Daniella Cassimatis(Dr.)の4人組。
美しいハーモニーとジャカジャカしたギターサウンドが特徴的なレトロポップバンドで、自身のことを“DIY beach rock”と語っている。
サウンド的にはWar PaintやThe Growlers、Nice Biscuitを思わせるので、いずれかのバンドが好きなら是非チェックして欲しい。

“Gold Coast all-female Quartet The Oogars ooze confidence and charm, blending together beautiful harmonies with jangly guitar and surf beats to create fun, moody beach rock reminiscence of The Growlers, War Paint and La Luz. Forming in April of 2018, these four ladies have released their first single ‘ SCREAM’ in mid march. Receiving plenty of attention on triple J home and hosed, what youth and Aussie local radio stations, clocking up over 10,ooo streams in only 2 months of releasing. They are currently winning over hearts with their entertaining live show and charismatic personalities.The Oogars recently returned from their first EUROPEAN TOUR around spain. If they’re not surfing, they’re making music and if they’re not making music, you’ll probably find them in a different country. With aims to release an EP early 2020.
